As July 4 approaches, Casio reveals an all-new G-SHOCK inspired by the patriotic spirit of Independence Day. New member of the 6900 range, the DW6900US24-2 revisits the original 1995 model with a contemporary design approach.
An iconic design revisited in the colors of the United States
Housed in a round case, this G-SHOCK features the famous “triple eye” display with a large front button, characteristic of the 6900 series. When initially launched, this collection marked a clear evolution from the old square designs of G -SHOCK, like that of the DW5000C.
The DW6900US24-2 is distinguished by its stainless steel caseback engraved with stars and stripes, in a nod to the American national holiday. Red and blue details enhance the navy bezel and mirrored dial, while the strap buckle features a bright red with large white stars.
Backlighting in the colors of the American flag
The watch's front button, adorned with the classic Casio “G” marker that has been on the DW6900 for several years, activates an EL backlight that illuminates the dial in the colors of the American flag.
Practical features and foolproof resistance
In terms of specifications, this new G-SHOCK offers water resistance to 200 meters, as well as a multifunction alarm, a countdown timer and a chronograph precise to 1/100th of a second. Enough to accompany adventurers in all their challenges, whether they take place on land or at sea.
