YouTube Music is now available on compatible Garmin smartwatches

Garmin has just added YouTube Music to its wide selection of music apps. It's very easy to add YouTube Music to your Garmin watch through the Connect IQ Store.

How to install YouTube Music on your Garmin watch

According to the company's announcement, YouTube Music is now available on the Connect IQ Store. To get started, simply go to the Connect IQ Store on your phone or Garmin device and download the music streaming app.

Next, open the app on your phone and follow the login steps. You will receive an eight-digit code to enter into your Garmin device. Once this is done, you will be able to explore the more than 100 million songs on the platform.

Sync your playlists and podcasts

Once paired, your YouTube Music playlists and podcasts will sync with your Garmin watch. This will allow you to use all of your watch's storage and enjoy your music without needing your phone nearby. Just tap to stream your music or podcasts directly to your headphones, perfect for workouts or long commutes.

Previously, Garmin users had a limited choice of music apps, including Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer.
