Abarth launches into shipbuilding

Can you imagine an Abarth converted into a sports boat? This is what the Italian manufacturer did, in collaboration with Car Off Shore, a company specializing in the manufacturing and rental of somewhat special boats.

Historically, Italian brands have been specialists in exclusive and limited editions of their cars. Abarth too and, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its founding, presented the Abarth OffShore, a boat inspired by the famous scorpion.

This is not the first special model that it has released this year, on the occasion of this anniversary. A few months ago, it surprised us with the Classiche 1300 OT.

The Abarth OffShore, a sports boat inspired by the 500

Presented at the Top Marques in Monaco, the most exclusive car show in the world, the Abarth OffShore inherits the sporting tradition of the Italian brand and brings it closer to the nautical world.

For its construction, Car Off Shore benefited from the collaboration of Centro Stile Fiat and Abarth, focusing on the sportiness, aggressiveness, bright colors and exciting performance of the brand.

Bold design and high-end finishes

The new Abarth Offshore features a bold metallic green bodywork that becomes iridescent in sunlight, combined with dark hazel-colored details and stitching.

The entire boat has sporty lines and the hard roof that envelops the passenger compartment protects the driver with a versatile hood system, inspired by the brand's convertible models.

The interior is equipped with two Besenzoni sports seats with an ergonomic padded leather backrest, a pair of matching four-point belts and a Wave Shock cushioned steel support base. At the stern there is a comfortable sun lounger to enjoy the sun after a swim.

In general, throughout the boat the high quality finishes stand out, such as the Synteak synthetic teak with customizations or the railing that follows the marked lines from stern to bow.

Only 500 units and a 230 hp outboard motor

As for the mechanical part, the Abarth Offshore uses a 230 hp inboard hydrojet outboard engine which allows it to reach a maximum speed of 58 knots, or 107 km/h. Additionally, it is equipped with a pair of Riva competition exhausts, which give the boat an aggressive sound.

Equipment includes a Garmin stereo system with RGB LEDs, four Fusion speakers and a subwoofer that uses the dashboard as a resonance box.

The new Abarth Offshore is available in a limited edition of only 500 units and fully customizable. Those interested can get more information at this link.

With this exclusive sports boat, Abarth once again proves its ability to create unique special editions, while extending its sporty and elegant universe to the nautical domain. An original way to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the scorpion brand!
