With a central seconds hand in the shape of a pole and in bright colors.
A sporting tribute
With less than 40 days until the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, OMEGA is preparing for this global sporting event with a new watch. This release features a refreshing reference of the Seamaster Aqua Terra inspired by the holder of eight world pole vault records, Armand โMondoโ Duplantis.
Watch Features
Housed in a 41mm stainless steel case, the watch highlights a sporty blue dial with the model's classic opaline finish, but rendered in a horizontal striped texture for an original touch. This is enhanced by a touch of yellow which adorns the quarter hour markers, the Seamaster logo as well as a central pole-shaped seconds hand.
Its transparent case back offers a tantalizing glimpse into the inner workings of the watch, powered by the in-house manufactured 8900 automatic caliber and fitted with a Co-Axial escapement. Capable of operating continuously for up to 60 hours, the movement is also resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss as well as a depth of 15 bars underwater.
Price and availability
Sold at a price of 6,300 Euros, the watch is accompanied by a textured rubber strap that matches the color of its dial. More details regarding the new Seamaster Aqua Terra can be found on the official OMEGA website.
