Nissan celebrates 55 years of the “Z” with the new heritage edition

Widened fenders and specific badges distinguish this edition from the standard version.

A tribute to the Z's heritage through a blend of nostalgic design touches and modern innovations

Nissan is commemorating the 55-year history of its iconic Z model with the launch of the Z Heritage Edition. This special edition pays homage to the Z's heritage through a blend of nostalgic design touches and modern innovations.

Starting at the front, the Nissan Z Heritage features a redesigned front grille, with a new rectangular dual-box design. The exterior sports a unique two-tone color scheme combining an exclusive New Sight Orange paint with black decals on the hood and side door panels, reminiscent of classic Zs of the past.

The design is further accentuated by fender extensions, special 19-inch black alloy wheels and personalized badges that underline the model's “Heritage”.

A 400 horsepower 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine unchanged from the Performance Edition

Under the hood, the Heritage Edition retains the features of the Z, without changing the Performance Edition's 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle, red-painted calipers, etc. Power also remains unchanged – 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.

A starting price of $59,135 for marketing this summer

The Nissan Z Heritage Edition will go on sale this summer, with a starting price of $59,135. For reference, the Nissan Z's base MSRP is set at $42,970, while the Performance Editions are $52,970.

The Z Heritage Edition thus offers enthusiasts a unique opportunity to treat themselves to a sports car with a retro look combined with modern performance. A beautiful tribute to celebrate more than half a century of history of a model that has become legendary.
