The Nilu27, the revolutionary hypercar signed by the ex-Bugatti designer, reveals a rev counter reaching 13,000 rpm!

Prepare to be dazzled by the Nilu27, the new hypercar designed by Sasha Selipanov, former designer of Bugatti and Koenigsegg. With its maddening rev counter peaking at 13,000 rpm and its design inspired by the biggest, this newcomer promises to shake up the world of hypercars during its official presentation at Monterey Car Week on August 15, 2024.

An engine that revs up to 11,000 rpm

Among the juicy details revealed by Nilu27, the most intriguing is undoubtedly this brief glimpse of the rev counter. Rotating counterclockwise, it proudly displays a red zone starting at 11,000 rpm and extending up to 13,000 rpm. If the number of cylinders still remains a mystery, some experts are betting on a V12 engine to power this car.

An exceptional design inspired by the greatest

New images of the Nilu27 reveal a breathtaking silhouette. The rear of the car, with its open gullwing doors, is strangely reminiscent of the Pagani Utopia. We discover a carbon fiber diffuser suspended by two spacers, sleek LED taillights and imposing rear wheels. The exposed suspensions, the double rear spoiler and the three central exhaust outlets add a touch of sportiness to the whole.

Other notable features of the Nilu27:

  • Spectacular butterfly doors
  • Luxurious cabin with an abundance of carbon fiber and red accents
  • Imposing gear lever (manual or automatic gearbox?)
  • 5-spoke rear wheels painted white, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires in 325/30 ZR21
  • A name full of symbolism

The name “Nilu” is a tribute to Sasha Selipanov's daughters Nica and Lucia, while the “27” refers to the racing number worn by legendary F1 drivers such as Gilles Villeneuve, Nigel Mansell, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost . A strong nod to the history of motorsport.

See you on August 15, 2024, during Monterey Car Week in California, to finally discover the Nilu27 in all its splendor. Until then, there is no doubt that Sasha Selipanov and his team will continue to distill new clues about this hypercar which is already shaping up to be one of the sensations of next year. It remains to be seen how many copies will be produced and at what price… But one thing is certain: the Nilu27 will not leave anyone indifferent!
