A current model Rolex at retail price, right now? Yes, that's the good news, and we've got five great examples you can buy right now.
Rolex Datejust
The Rolex Datejust is the epitome of Rolex for many, and the collection's extensive range has shown that the watch is remarkably capable of reinventing itself. The Datejust can be configured in many ways, but it's the jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel that make its look unique and a perennial favorite. Introduced in 1945 to celebrate the brand's 40th anniversary, it was the first watch to integrate a date into an automatic chronometer movement. Today, it is Rolexโs most prolific reference.
The Datejust has been offered in sizes ranging from 28mm to 41mm throughout its history, but the 36mm case strikes a perfect balance and follows the trend for smaller watches. This example we've selected is 36mm on a jubilee bracelet with a fluted bezel framing its silver dial with a subtle sunburst texture. This model is listed at โฌ10,295, close to its retail price of โฌ9,050. You could even negotiate a little!

Rolex Sea-Dweller
The Rolex Sea-Dweller is the dive watch that cemented the brand's place in history, with legendary exploits from its inception during the US Navy's Project SEALAB to its descent into the Mariana Trench attached to the exterior of the Deepsea Challenger. The 2017 model 126600 marked the first appearance of a Cyclops on a Sea-Dweller and added a line of red text in homage to the watch's history.
The retail price of the Sea-Dweller 126600 is โฌ13,250, and examples in excellent condition can be found around this price on the secondary market. This watch is listed just below at โฌ12,895 and is in very good condition. This reference uses the modern 3235 movement, a superlative stopwatch that runs at +/- 2 seconds per day.

Rolex Air King
The Rolex Air-King is a special watch today, but it represents an important part of the brand's history. Released in 1945 alongside the Datejust, the Air-King was an 'entry level' watch, a distillation of everything Rolex stood for in its most basic form. The 2022 reference 126900 retained the distinctive dial design but with some modifications to improve balance.
This new case measures 40mm in diameter with a total thickness of less than 12mm, and could well be the best asset of this reference. This excellent condition example is also priced within โฌ1,000 of its retail price, available for โฌ8,350.

Rolex Explorer
Rolex released a new Explorer in 2021 with the reference 214270, returning the watch to its classic 36mm size, surprising many enthusiasts. Reference 124273 Explorer in Rolesor (steel and yellow gold) was also introduced, a first for the Explorer, quickly attracting the attention of collectors.
This Explorer houses the Rolex 3230 automatic movement, featuring the Chronergy escapement with paramagnetic blue Parachrom balance spring for more reliable precision. This example is priced well below its current retail price of โฌ12,050.

Rolex Sky-Dweller
The Sky-Dweller is Rolex's most mechanically innovative watch, perhaps of all time. This collection, introduced in 2012, features a uniquely presented annual calendar complication. The date is at 3 o'clock, while the month is represented by one of the apertures at the end of each hour index.
The functions are all controlled by the Ring Command system, which involves rotating the bezel to switch between crown functions. This example in excellent condition with a white Rolesor case and bracelet is offered at โฌ18,495.
