a must-have for watch lovers

The German brand MeisterSinger once again surprises watch enthusiasts with the launch of two new versions of its famous Unomat. These limited edition single-hand watches promise to appeal to collectors around the world.

The Unomat: the perfect combination of sport and elegance

Launched three years ago, the MeisterSinger Unomat quickly won the hearts of fans of single-hand watches thanks to its innovative concept. This sporty watch is distinguished by its screw-down crown, its reinforced steel case back, its water resistance up to 300 meters and its protection against magnetism.

Today, MeisterSinger is evolving its collection by presenting two new limited editions:

โ€“ An international version sporting a striking arctic blue โ€“ A special edition for the Dutch market, adorned in flamboyant orange

Each of these single-hand watches is produced in a limited series of just 50 pieces, thus guaranteeing their exclusivity.

A matte black dial enhanced by luminous details

The new Unomats feature a deep matte black dial, providing a striking contrast to the luminous elements. MeisterSinger has made some subtle but significant changes compared to previous versions:

โ€“ The 5-minute indexes are now tone-on-tone with the dial, reinforcing the elegance of the wholeโ€“ The two-digit hour numerals are composed of three-dimensional luminous elements applied to the dialโ€“ These luminous elements, thicker than on previous models, absorb and emit light on the sides, ensuring optimal readability even in the dark

The central hand, characteristic of MeisterSinger single-hand watches, is relatively wide on the Unomat. It benefits, just like the hour markers, from a high-performance luminescent treatment.

A robust case with a sophisticated design

The case of both limited editions of the Unomat is coated with a layer of deep black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), providing increased resistance to scratches and corrosion. MeisterSinger opted for contrasting finishes:

โ€“ The case back and the central part are sandblasted for a matte appearance โ€“ The bezel is polished, providing a touch of shine which highlights the lines of the case

With a diameter of 43 mm, these single-hand watches assert their presence on the wrist without being massive. They are mounted on robust rubber straps, matching the color of each edition: arctic blue for the international version and orange for the Dutch edition.

An interesting feature of the Dutch edition is the positioning of the crown on the left, thus providing an option for left-handers or those who prefer to wear their watch on the right wrist.

An efficient and protected automatic movement

At the heart of the Unomat beats the Sellita SW400 automatic movement, specially modified for MeisterSinger's single-hand watches. This caliber has several advantages:

โ€“ A date display positioned more externally, offering a size 30% larger than that of a classic SW200 movement โ€“ โ€‹โ€‹Protection against magnetic fields thanks to layers of soft iron surrounding the movement, making it insensitive to radiation mobile phones, electrical appliances, magnetic clasps and laboratory equipment

An affordable price for an exceptional watch

Despite their exclusivity and technical performance, the new Unomat limited editions remain affordable. Their price is set at around 2,650 euros, a competitive rate for a single-hand watch of this quality.

The new limited edition MeisterSinger Unomats represent a unique opportunity for collectors and watch enthusiasts to own a piece combining originality, performance and exclusivity. With only 50 examples available for each version, these single-hand watches are likely to quickly find buyers among enthusiasts around the world.
