A hybrid revolution in the world of premium SUVs

German automaker Audi is set to launch the third generation of its iconic Q5 SUV, marking a crucial step in the evolution of the range. Combining performance, luxury and advanced technologies, this new model promises to redefine the standards of the premium SUV segment.

A bold design for a strong presence

The new Q5 2025 sports a resolutely modern and dynamic design. Its sculpted silhouette, 4.86 meters long, immediately commands respect on the road. The sharp lines and taut surfaces give the vehicle an athletic look, while the Audi signature Singleframe grille adopts generous dimensions for an even more pronounced presence.

The optional Matrix LED headlights offer a customizable lighting signature via the multimedia screen. At the rear, the OLED technology light strip elegantly connects the lights, creating a striking visual effect at night.

A high-tech, driver-centric interior

The interior of the Q5 2025 is all about digitalization, without neglecting comfort and ergonomics. The cockpit is built around a curved interface consisting of an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central multimedia screen.

The premium ambiance is enhanced by noble materials and careful finishes. The generous loading volume, which can reach 1,473 liters with the rear seats folded down, underlines the practical side of this family SUV.

A range of hybrid engines for all uses

Audi offers a range of engines to meet the most diverse requirements. The core range consists of two petrol and diesel engines, both with a 24 hp mild hybrid system (MHEV):

โ€“ A 2.0 TFSI petrol developing 204 hp and 340 Nm of torqueโ€“ A 2.0 TDI diesel with 204 hp and 400 Nm of torque

These engines are associated with an automatic gearbox and can be equipped with quattro all-wheel drive.

For thrill seekers, the Audi SQ5 retains its 3.0-litre V6 TFSI, now increased to 367 hp and 550 Nm of torque. This sporty version benefits from quattro all-wheel drive as standard.

The plug-in hybrid: the key asset of the 2025 Q5

The major innovation of this new generation lies in the upcoming arrival of plug-in hybrid versions (PHEV). Audi announces two power levels: 295 hp and 362 hp, both with an electric range of over 80 km. These PHEV variants should appeal to customers who are keen to reduce their carbon footprint without sacrificing performance.

Plug-in hybrid technology will allow the Q5 to operate in 100% electric mode over short distances, ideal for daily urban journeys.

Chassis and driver assistance systems: the ultimate in Audi technology

The 2025 Q5 benefits from Audi's latest technological advances in chassis and suspension. A sports suspension is offered as standard, while an adaptive air suspension is available as an option for optimal ride comfort.

The SUV also features a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including lane keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking and automatic parking systems. These technologies help to enhance safety and comfort in everyday driving.

Responsible production for an eco-conscious premium SUV

The new Q5 will be produced at Audi's San Josรฉ Chiapa plant in Mexico. The manufacturer is promoting an environmentally friendly production strategy, including a waste recycling rate of up to 90% and a water management plan that will save 150,000 cubic meters per year.

This eco-responsible approach is part of Audi's desire to reduce the environmental impact of its vehicles throughout their life cycle.

A highly anticipated launch on the French market

The first deliveries of the 2025 Q5 are scheduled for the first quarter of 2025 in France. Prices have not yet been officially announced, but we can expect an entry ticket of around 60,000 euros, which can climb to 90,000 euros for the most high-end versions.

The most impatient customers will be able to configure their vehicle from September 2024, allowing Audi to best prepare for the launch of this strategic model.

The new 2025 Q5 is set to be a key player in the premium SUV segment. Combining cutting-edge technology, hybrid performance and refined design, it perfectly embodies Audiโ€™s vision for the future of premium automobiles.
