Jackson Police Department officials said Markell Noah, 12, participated Friday in a round of Russian roulette involving two other juveniles. Stay on your children. Be nosey. Know what they’re doing and who they are doing it with,” said Jackson resident Star Appleberry. A 14-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested and charged with murder. Bond was set at $1 million for the 14-year-old and $2 million for the 17-year-old. In addition, Kaylan Owens, 21, was arrested and charged for accessory after the fact to the murder. Owens was denied bond.
