The Massachusetts estate of Yankee Candle founder Michael J. Kittredge Jr. is on the market for a whopping $23 million. The property in Leverett features 120,000 square feet of living space, including 16 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms and a massive garage. The estate also includes a bowling alley, an arcade, tennis courts, a golf course , a full-sized auditorium and an indoor pool that looks more like an indoor water park, as it features slides, caves and palm trees. Kittredge’s 19-year-old daughter, Kylie, took to TikTok to describe what it was like to live at such a massive property.”I’ve seen a lot of comments about the bowling alley. It was once in a blue moon we would use it,” Kylie Kittredge said. “Golf carts were our main mode of transportation. I was driving a golf cart at age 5 by myself.” Our indoor pool, people are calling it the water park right now, but we had some really fun birthday parties in here,” she said. added. Although the estate belonged to the founder of Yankee Candle, Kylie Kittredge said candles were only burned in the kitchen and that those candles were usually unscented.
