Jeans, moccasins and travel bags: the arrival of “celebrities” in Venice, the other red carpet of the festival | Celebrities, Parties | S Mode THE COUNTRY



This Wednesday began the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival, one of the most anticipated events for moviegoers, which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. The Italian city becomes the epicenter of the seventh art and also of fashion, even before the opening of its first day. The airport, the city streets and the famous vaporettos that cross its canals are the prelude to the long-awaited red carpet of the oldest cinematic event in the world.

One of the first actresses to set foot in Venice was Jodie Turner-Smith. The interpreter of White noise, the film by Noah Baumbach which will open the festival today, was spotted this Tuesday in costume with a jacket and trousers with a yellow and pink gradient print. A striking outfit that she completed with two Gucci bags, colorful XL-framed sunglasses and high-heeled sandals.

Julianne Moore, who succeeds South Korean director Bong Joon-ho this year and chairs the festival jury, opted for a see demonstrating the power of the basics: blazer navy blue, white t-shirt and straight jeans. An infallible style that she combined with loafers, a double bag and sunglasses, all signed Gucci. Subsequently, the Oscar-winning actress ditched the basics for a strapless tapered neck dress and polka dot skirt from Alaïa.

Tessa Thompson, star of the film directed by Steve Buscemi The listenerlanded in the Italian city in a transparent dress with gold embroidery by Victoria Beckham, on a bralette and flared pants. All this combined with a Vivienne Westwood tartan print bag and red leather gloves. At night, the interpreter opted for a full-look black by Rodarte, with a voluminous skirt in tulle and blazer of silk.

Spanish actress Rocío Muñoz Morales, who was named godmother of this edition, opted for a black and white style signed Giorgio Armani, which was quickly replaced by a fluid pale blue dress, also from the Italian firm. Meanwhile, Argentinian actress Griselda Siciliani posed alongside the city’s canals in a pleated dress paired with blue sandals and a Prada bag.

Other of celebrities who were seen before the start of the contest is the model Alessandra Ambrosio, with a white lace mini dress with blazer In tune, the British actress and cellist Sophie Kauer, in a midi dress with puffed sleeves, or the model Grace Elisabeth, in a lingerie top and flared pants.
