Leonardo DiCaprio is an American actor, film producer, and environmental activist, born on November 11, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. Leo started his acting career at a young age, appearing in several television commercials and later, in television series like Parenthood and Growing Painswhere he began his tenure as a heartthrob. Titanic catapulted him to fame in 1997. The blockbuster took in $1.8 billion at global box offices, establishing him as one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

Throughout his career, Leo has continued to challenge himself with roles in The Departed (2006), Inception (2010), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). He has won numerous awards for his performances, including an Academy Award for Best Actor The Revenant (2015). Leo is also a passionate environmentalist, using his platform to raise awareness about environmental issues.

Leo’s love of acting and ecology has taken him around the world, to red carpets and beyond. Here, Leonardo DiCaprio looks dapper during the 2014 EE British Academy Film Awards at London’s Royal Opera House on Feb. 16. His hair was slicked back and he had on a suit which matched his blue eyes.
