Farspoken is a title that has been getting a lot of press lately, some of it good, some not so much. The title is being developed by Luminous Productions, of Final Fantasy XV fame, and is set to launch on PS5 on January 24th.
In an interview with the Spanish-language website 3DJuegosAnd has been relayed by MP1stForspoken co-director Takeshi Terada has revealed that players can expect to spend around 30-40 hours completing an average playthrough of Forspoken.
This is specifically to beat the main story, and Terada mentioned that Farspoken’s endgame will feature many secondary missions and additional quests to keep players busy. Of course, we won’t know for sure until we get our hands on the game to know for sure, as playtime is a tricky metric.
No one can discount the marketing spin that developers and publishers often put on Playtime, either. Never mind the outrageous claim that Dying Light 2 would take “500 hours” to complete, which was almost immediately reverted to “if you want”.
