What do you know? Absolutely Crazy about GTA 5? All you have to do is mash the X button like a complete maniac to sprint. Every other developer figured out that holding down a button, or popping in the left analog stick, was the best way to handle high-speed on-foot locomotion in games—except Rockstar, apparently.
But a new update will include an option in the settings menu that will allow you to run it by simply holding down the X button. It should be noted that this feature is mentioned in the context of GTA Online, but we’d be surprised if it didn’t apply to the offline single player campaign as well. In fact, we think we might revolt if not!
After a decade of development, Rockstar has finally turned to fans for feedback on the game, and it’s been generally improving the experience ever since. Most notably, it has recently enabled the option to complete jobs and earn money in invite-only server sessions, so you don’t have to deal with the hassles that are usually found in GTA Online. live in
Clearly, the game is on for A long Now is the time, so it may be too little too late. But as we still regularly return to Los Santos, we can tell you we’re very excited to finally see the improved Sprint option added.
