Another six-month Apple TV+ free trial is now available on PS5, PS4

Apple and Sony have teamed up once again to offer PS5 and PS4 owners another free six-month trial of streaming service Apple TV+. If you own a PS5, you’ll get half a year of access, and that includes anyone who’s an existing member or used a previous free trial. On PS4, the free trial only lasts for three months, and only new customers are eligible.

To redeem the offer, follow these steps:

1. Find the Apple TV app from the search bar on your PS5 console, or find it under “All Apps” in Media Home.
2. Download and open the Apple TV app and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Sign in with your Apple ID or create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one.
4. Enjoy your extended trial of Apple TV+.

If you’re claiming a three-month free trial on PS4, you’ll need to download the Apple TV app and create an Apple ID. The two deals are available until 31 July 2023, so if you really want to take full advantage, start membership at the last possible second. The key detail here is that you must claim the offer through a PS5 or PS4 console; You can’t do it from the web or from a mobile phone.
