Update: After screenshots leaked earlier today, Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage. More information will be shared during the release Ubisoft Forward Livestream on 10 September 2022.
Original article: Images of what appears to be a pre-order quest for the currently unannounced Assassin’s Creed Mirage have hit social media. Rumored to feature Assassin’s Creed Valhalla character Basim as the main character, this entry is believed to take the series back to before many of the RPG elements were implemented. That is until Assassin’s Creed Infinity comes along, at least. Take a look at the leaked images below.
Many of the older Assassin’s Creed titles are bundled into a bonus mission if you pre-order the game, and The Forty Thieves quest appears to be a companion quest for Mirage if you cash in ahead of time. The Forty Thieves is said to be a popular story in Iraqi folklore, with the play reportedly set in Baghdad.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will almost certainly receive its official unveiling during one Ubisoft Forward Livestream on 10 September 2022. Will you be tuning in to see what the game looks like in the flesh? Let us know in the comments below.
