Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Patch 1.6.1 Adds Second Tombs of the Fallen Story Next Week

Update: Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla patch 1.6.1 will launch next week, September 27th. It will, as speculated, include the second part of the Tombs of the Fallen storyline.

Apparently, a new feature called ‘Rune Forge’ will also be unlocked with this update. We believe this will allow you to add crafting or perhaps runes. We should have much more information early next week.

Original story: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive its second Tombs of the Fallen update “soon,” according to the game’s official social media accounts. The First The Fall Tobes update released in November of last year (was it really that Long ago?!), introducing several new and mysterious locations that Eaver can explore for fresh rewards. We also wrote a full Tomb of the Fallen Guide that covered the whole thing.

This next part of the story should answer some important questions regarding the tombs and their overall purpose. There is no doubt that some new locations will be added to the already open world of the game.

So, when is this update being released? Well, earlier this week, ever reliable PlayStation game size noted that a new patch for Valhalla was added to PlayStation’s database. This can do Be the update in question, as Ubisoft is already teasing. If so, the second Tobs of the Fallen update could launch as early as next week.
