Atelier Raiza 3: The Last Alchemist and Secret Key March Delayed

The oddly named but undeniably charming Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key has been delayed. Originally slated for a February launch, the adorable JRPG will now mix things up on March 24th.

Creator of the game Junzo Hosoi announced the delayStating that “our team will take this extra time to fine tune the finishing touches so that we can provide all of you who are following the series with the best possible experience in this pinnacle of Raiza and her friends’ adventures. “

The Atelier Ryza series has, to date, sold a respectable 1.3 million copies, no small feat for a niche JRPG franchise. A subset of the larger Atelier series itself, the games set in the Raiza series follow the titular alchemist on his various journeys.

Beginning with Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and continuing into Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, the series is more light-hearted than the usual JRPG fare, but still features solid combat mechanics and a very Addictive Alchemy features mechanics. Which allows you to craft all sorts of things.
