Bomb Rush is the spiritual successor to the funk cult-classic Jet Set Radio. While it was supposed to be released in 2022, developer Team Reptile has announced another delay (originally slated to launch in 2021). The funky title is now targeting a summer 2023 release window.
In Bomb Rush Funk, the art of graffiti is elevated to all new heights. You play as a stylish member of a tagging crew called the Cypher, and it’s your mission in life to dance, paint, trick and confront the police in this colorful and fantastical vision of the future.
While the delay is short, Team Reptile has promised that we’ll be seeing more from the game in the coming days, which will certainly help. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is shaping up to be one to watch, and so we hope they get the time they need.
