Diablo 4 details many of its endgame activities
Blizzard has spilled the beans on how Diablo 4 will (hopefully) keep you playing well past the end of the main campaign. And to be honest, it all looks very promising. Once you cut your way through the game’s story, a bunch of activities are unlocked so you can continue to develop your character(s).
Here’s a quick overview based on the official press release:
- You can increase the overall difficulty level of the game by completing ‘Capstone Dungeons’
- A robust paragon system lets you enhance your character’s abilities in a variety of ways as you level up.
- Endgame equipment ‘aspects’ (actually perks) can be used to further enhance your weapons and armor.
- Any of the game’s 120+ dungeons can become ‘Nightmare Dungeons’, featuring more dangerous objectives and enemies as well as end-game rewards.
- The open world of the game also becomes more dangerous, with the ‘Helltide’ area offering hordes of powerful enemies and monsters. You get shards for defeating them, which can be traded for prizes
- ‘Tree of Whispers’ offers end-game rewards, which provide prize cash upon completion
- The game’s dedicated PvP area, the Realm of Hate, gives you extra incentive to develop your character
Blizzard is also keen to remind everyone that Diablo 4 is a live service title, and so players can probably expect more end game content to be added in time.
It all sounds great for those who want it realy Get stuck in, but as always, we’ll have to wait and see how it all comes together. Can you see yourself playing Diablo 4 all the way to the end game and beyond? Make some fully cracked builds in the comments section below.
