Diablo 4’s max level will take most players 150 hours to hit
Trying to determine the length of a game like Diablo 4 seems like a pretty futile endeavor, since players could technically grind forever. But if you’re desperate for a number, associate game director Joseph Pipiora have your back
When asked how long it will take to reach the game’s level 100 cap, Piepiora says you’re looking at “150+ hours for an average player experience.” This is one hell of a run!
To be clear, this is not 150 hours to complete the campaign. Blizzard has previously gone on record stating that it will take most players around 35 hours to complete the main story. But if you’re looking to grind and progress through Diablo 4’s post-campaign activities – and actually reach level 100 – it’s far from clear that the action RPG will keep you busy.
It’s also worth noting that hitting the level cap isn’t the end of your character’s progression. With end-game objectives of farming for great loot, you’ll progress into the Paragon board, which lets you further customize your hero’s attributes and bring down your own play style.
Blizzard clearly thinks Diablo 4 is going to keep players engaged, but does the thought of spending over 150 hours put you off playing? Try not to cap yourself in the comments section below.
