Dragon Age: Origins writer thinks it’s time for a ‘PS5-era bells and whistles’ remaster
Dragon Age: The Originals writer David Guider thinks it’s time for a “PS5-era bells and whistles” remaster, possibly with 4K visuals running at 60fps, along with haptic integration, and we can’t help but can’t agree
Gader was joking Twitter That, given the current appetite for high-quality remasters and remakes from the 2000s (such as the recently released Dead Space and the upcoming Resident Evil 4), it might be time for us to return to the now-classic RPG. is
In response, Guider downplays the chances of such a project being greenlit, however, noting that “I doubt EA would do it if they thought it would sell like *gold-plated* hotcakes. They … Never really got DA, or understood why it sold better than Mass Effect, was my influence.”
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is the next entry in the series, and we haven’t had official word on the project for a while now. Rumor has it that the title is still a ways off.
What do you think, would you rather see a PS5-style remaster or a remake of Dragon Age: Origins? Alistair must be getting lonely after so long. Keep the flame alive in the comments section below.
