Dragon Ball games are still making big money for Bandai Namco
The Dragon Ball The franchise has enjoyed tremendous success over its nearly 40-year history, and the scary part is that it shows no real signs of slowing down. Case in point: its two most recent video game adaptations have been huge hits for publisher Bandai Namco.
The company just revealed that both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 have sold 10 million copies. That’s the number we associate with a blockbuster, ‘AAA’ release — so it’s pretty impressive no matter how you slice it.
For additional context, FighterZ launched back in 2018, and XenoVerse 2 came out two years ago, in 2016. FighterZ is getting a native PS5 version at some point, and XenoVerse 2 is. still Updating with new missions and characters, if you can believe it.
