E3 2023 will try to restore the ‘traditional E3 week’ next June

ReadPop is looking to “reinstate the traditional E3 week” next year Confirms that physical performance will return 13-16 June 2023 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The first two days will give press outlets a chance to get their hands on the latest upcoming titles from the world’s biggest gaming companies, and then the general public will join the show floor.

In partnership with ReadPop, ESA wants to accomplish three goals as it returns E3 to a physical event:

  • Create a better business event where it’s easy to connect, meet and conduct interviews.
  • Create a better user experience where there are actually things for fans to do.
  • Be a partner, support, and friend to everyone announcing games in and around E3, whether they’re actually at the convention center or not.

Kyle Marsden-Kish, VP of Gaming at ReadPop said: “E3 is one of the few opportunities for the global gaming industry to come together, unite as one loud voice, and show the world what it’s all about. Our The vision is to reconnect the industry. -Instill the traditional E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3’s role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers.”

For the press, there will be half of the entire convention center dedicated to quiet and comfortable booths where journalists can focus on playing upcoming games for coverage, and then network with industry members and writers from other outlets. Before, during and after the show, business attendees will “get data, insights, interviews and analysis straight to their inbox and in print”.

For fans attending, indie games and publishers will be more easily accessible and there will be presentations to watch in person and online. They are not big publisher showcases, which are said to start before Sunday. E3 will look to officially partner with as many of them as possible.
