The World Cup is definitely No A free-to-play football sim is coming to eFootball – but, well, that’s a bit too much, right? Konami has announced a second season of soccer for its struggling Pro Evo reboot, focusing on the International Cup experience. These, along with the addition of 40 national teams, will see you compete against the AI for an admittedly not-so-covetable prize. If you want to get more competitive, you’ll be able to try the eFootball International Cup, which has a prize pool of 1 billion eFootball coins.

The new national team packs will be available for Dream Team, eFootball’s Ultimate Team option, and come with 11 players from each supported country, including France, Argentina, Brazil and Japan. As part of each National Team Pack, you’ll receive a Guaranteed Big Time Card, a new digital card design depicting an iconic moment in a superstar player’s career, whether past or present.

Of course, there is still no word on the Master League mode, which is the eFootball feature most players have been waiting for. It doesn’t end until 2023, so if you’re not interested in this upcoming international event, there’s no real reason to re-download Soccer Sim right now.
