Embracer Group is a large holding company that owns countless publishing brands, studios and video game IPs. is the owner of Over the past few years, its rapid expansion has been interesting to watch. It has splashed cash on the likes of Perfect World Entertainment, 4A Games, Flying Wild Hog, and Gearbox Entertainment, to name just a few. Its biggest recent investments are Square Enix’s western developers and franchises, including Tomb Raider and Deus Ex. The size of this company is quite insane, and as a result, it has a very much of sports in the pipeline.
It has 234 titles in the works for PC and/or consoles, to be exact. Of these, 25 are considered AAA, and all of them are planned for release between now and the end of March 2026. This information comes directly from the company, which has its Latest financial report Full of insight on its plans.
From this, we can also see that Embracer has 49 games just announced, including upcoming titles such as Alone in the Dark, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Evil West, and the recently delayed Dead Island. 2 are included. Hundreds of projects are under wraps.
The company has its fingers in many pies, then. Obviously, the jury is out on the quality of what’s to come, but between over two hundred games, some are bound to be hits, right? Here’s hoping fans won’t have to wait too long to find out more about what’s going on with the TimeSplitters.
