Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster’s New Exp Increases Money Doesn’t Disable Trophies

Now that we’ve actually played Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster for ourselves, we can confirm that the all-new ‘boosts’ do. No Disable trophies. We always hoped that would be the case, but we want to make it clear in any case push square Readers were shocked.

For additional reference, ‘Boost’ is found in the options menu of each Pixel Remaster. They are essentially modifiers that can be tweaked at any time, and are very much designed to eliminate the need for grinding in these old school RPGs. You can increase the amount of experience points you get from fighting, and it’s the same deal with money. At most there is a 4x multiplier, which will see your party level up very quickly.

We think these boosts are great to have around. While older Final Fantasy titles are relatively short, not everyone has the time or patience to grind levels these days. And if you’ve already played the games, you can use the modifier to blast through your favorites for that powerful hit of nostalgia.
