Street Fighter 6 meanwhile enjoyed another stellar performance Game Awards overnight, where four new characters were officially added to the roster – including the returning DJ and newcomers Menon, Marisa and JP. Capcom also showed off a bit more of the World Tour mode, which will expand beyond Metro City, and see you travel to exotic locations like Italy and France.
In addition to outsmarting the masters from each country to learn new special moves, you’ll be able to engage in mini-games that will see you sample traditional Italian cuisine and even parry basketballs. In each case, the minigames are designed to sharpen your skills in combat, which in our opinion is a great way to subtly present the tutorials.
The game is currently available for pre-order, with three options available: Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate. The main difference between the three is that the Deluxe Edition includes the Year 1 Character Pass, which includes four post-release fighters, a set of color variants, and 4,200 Drive Tickets, which you can use to purchase in-game items. The Ultimate Edition DLC comes with all of the above, in addition to two extra costumes for fighters, two extra stages, and 7,700 drive tickets.
If you pre-order at PS Store, you’ll also get some additional outfit color variants for Chun-Li, Jamie, Manon, Dee Jay, Juri, and Ken – as well as a selection of titles and stickers, which you can use to customize your profile. And if you missed the new trailer yesterday, we seriously recommend checking it out – the game looks amazing!
