God of War Ragnarok nominated for five awards at GDC

God of War Ragnarok will battle it out for Game of the Year at this year’s GDC Awards in March. A list of categories voted on by game developers, it faces competition from Alden Ring, Stray, Tunic, repentanceAnd this too immortality For the main prize. The Santa Monica studio title has been nominated in four other categories, with each winner to be announced on March 22, 2023.

The Elden Ring and Stray both received six nominations, while God of War Ragnarok received five. It is also on the ballot for Best Audio, Best Narration, Best Technology, and Best Visual Art. Horizon Forbidden West is also nominated in the same categories except for Best Narrative, where Return to Monkey Island is favored.
