Here’s how to play Mortal Kombat 1 on PS5 early

Mortal Kombat 1’s September 19th release date is on the horizon, which may still be too far for some. Thankfully, players who can’t wait actually have some chance for relief, with a beta coming for those who pre-ordered, plus a major stress test being planned.

Mortal Kombat 1 online stress test will require prospective players to sign up here (A WB account is required). Accordingly FAQ, WB will confirm the specific time “at a later date”. Further, the company stresses that this is not, in fact, a beta but a “true stress test”.

Although, PS5 players will be able to participate, PlayStation Plus will not be required. Additionally, the test will not support cross-platform play and will be separate from pre-order bonuses or access included in Premium or Collector’s Editions. Finally, only players from North America, Latin America, Brazil and Europe will be eligible.
