Horizon Forbidden West Multiplayer Leak Shows Old Build With Fortnite-Style Characters

A Horizon Forbidden West leak is currently being passed around online, and it’s quite interesting. the footage Apparently from an earlier alpha build of Open World Adventure, the feature represents a four-player multiplayer mode that was, at one time, in development (and probably still is, as explained below).
The big talking point, however, is that despite keeping the realistic environment of Forbidden West, the character models are very much Cartoony immediately draws comparisons to designs in games like Fortnite. The leaked video shows male and female avatars wearing different clothing and armor, and the characters appear to be able to perform sprints and slides similar to Aloy. However, we don’t see the characters engaging in any out and out fights.
So what happened to this multiplayer project? Well, as far as we know, it’s still on the cards. You’ll recall that late last year, Guerrilla Games was specifically recruiting for Project Horizon Online, featuring “a unique stylized look.” This leak is likely the start of that project.
