It appears that you won’t have to set aside 100 hours of playtime to complete Assassin’s Creed Mirage as Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be on par with titles released before the series was fully developed. Created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Assassin’s Creed, the title is a short project on purpose.

“With a focus on silence, close combat, parkour, and a dense city, you should expect it to be somewhere in the region of 15 to 20 hours. Hopefully that will be closer to our original games,” explained executive producer Marc-Alexis Cote IGN. As a result Assassin’s Creed Mirage is priced at £44.99/$49.99.

Kote also talked about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform, which will release Assassin’s Creed Codename Red (feudal Japan setting) and Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexae (rumored to take place during the witch trials of the 1600s). While the former will continue the recent RPG trend of the series, Hexie will not be one. Therefore, Cote believes that the infinite platform will allow publishers to develop different experiences of different sizes. “Not everything has to be a 150-hour RPG, right?”

Infinity will also open up the franchise to different price tiers. “Sometimes you’ll also have free experiences, which I think is a great way to entice players to come back. Commenting on the success of crossover quests with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Côté said that they There is fan interest in various products, and so the appropriate price tags will be “up”. [our] Mind when we create infinity.”
