Japanese retailers appear to reveal Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s PS5, PS4 release date

There’s been some back-and-forth on the rumored release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the more traditional entry in the long-running stealth series. Now it seems Japanese retailers are converging around October 12, with several major online stores adding the date to their product pages overnight. This includes Amazon, YodobashiAnd Bic camera – They can’t all be wrong!

It is worth noting, as indicated by Gematsu, those placeholder dates aren’t common in Japan, so this sudden surge of updates likely stems from official information coming from publisher Ubisoft. Of course, we’ll have to wait for confirmation from the French firm on that front, with some speculating that an announcement could come sooner rather than later. PS Showcase Later today.

If nothing is mentioned during Sony’s livestream, everything should be official by the time Ubisoft Forward Airing on June 12th We’ll obviously keep our ears close to the ground and update you if we hear more, but October 12th feels like the perfect spot for a big new killer breed game.
