Konami renewed the Sukoden trademark before the anticipated TGS showing

Konami has renewed the trademark for its cult-classic Suikoden JRPG franchise, fueling speculation that the publisher’s new title in the “universe-loving series” could be the next entry set in that universe.

This, along with the fact that Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji will be in attendance, lends credence to the matter. Kaji voiced Suikoden’s protagonist Jovi in Suikoden 2, and voiced other characters in Suikoden Tirecress and Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century.. Konami’s description, which takes place on September 16 and will run for 45 minutes, reads:

“Voice actor Yuji Kaji will be invited as a guest at the announcement stage for a new Konami title, to represent fans of a series that is loved around the world.”

The trademark was filed back in June, but was only uncovered by sleuthsters Reddit And aired on popular gaming forums Reset era. While trademarks alone aren’t a clue, the combination of Kaji’s involvement and Konami’s description makes us think there’s some substance to this.
