Last Minute Honkai: Star Train Livestream Delay Leaves PS5, PS4 Fans On Tenterhooks

Update: About a minute before HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail livestream began today, the video was hastily removed due to technical issues. Online chatter has since focused on things affecting the earthquake, so first of all we sincerely hope everyone is okay.

Chinese broadcasting did Go ahead, though, and have outlined the anticipated Silver Wolf and Luocha banners, while also confirming some new companion content and a login event with opportunities to earn ten pulls for free. However, there was no mention of PS5 or PS4 versions.

The wait continues for the English language stream, then, which is now scheduled for May 27, 2023. To apologize, HoYoverse will give everyone 100 gifts. Stellar Jade – or “apolojade” as the community has colloquially taken to describe it.

Original article: Honkai: Star Rail, the turnbased RPG from Genshin Impact developer Hoyoverse, has been out on PC and smartphones for almost a month now – but there’s still no word on when the release will be available for PS5 and PS4. However, this weekend, on May 26, the game will receive Inauguration of Galactic Roaming Livestream.

For those of you not familiar with the developer or its approach to Genshin Impact, it hosts broadcasts every six weeks to reveal the contents of the next big update. In this case, the livestream will cover everything you need to know about Honkai: Star Rail’s first major post-release refresh, which will likely include new banners, events, and content.

With the update due around June 6, many are expecting more information about the previously announced PS5 and PS4 versions.
