Marvel’s Avengers has made almost all PS5, PS4 content free before listing

Marvel’s Avengers’ final content update is live, making “almost all” of the game’s cosmetic DLC free ahead of the release’s impending delisting. This includes the new War Machine skin for Iron Man, which will be available to redeem by anyone who previously unlocked a single trophy in the game. You can learn more about it here.

In ridiculously traditional fashion, the game’s patch notes are currently unavailable, as developer Crystal Dynamics has failed to publish a page. However, we will update this article once we know the full extent of the final update. One thing we do know is that the studio has boosted all of the title’s heroes, hoping to make them feel more powerful as the release moves towards its resting place.

For those of you unaware, the game will be officially removed from the list on September 30th, although single player and multiplayer gameplay will remain available after that date. Aside from today’s patch there will be no other gameplay updates, and previously datamined characters like She-Hulk and Captain Marvel will not be included.
