NBA 2K23’s ‘Biggest and Most Involved’ Story Features Rapper J. have

NBA 2K23 was already shaping up to be a massive package between its Michael Jordan campaign and historic franchise mode features, but of course there’s still MyCareer to consider. Just like last year, on a new-gen console like the PS5, you’ll be balancing your time between the NBA and your off-court activities. This is where rapper J. Cole, as he will make a cameo during the campaign alongside Dreamville musicians Elite and Bass.

Surprisingly, on the cover J. Cole will be accompanied by a limited edition basketball sim, though it will only be available at GameStop in the United States and Canada. “NBA 2K has long been the place to discover new musical talent through its game and remains the gold standard for showcasing all things basketball culture,” said a chubby J. Cole. “Not only appearing on the cover of this year’s game, but being a part of the MyCareer story, soundtrack, and bringing the Dreamer brand to NBA 2K has been an incredible journey.”

Speaking of which, 2K Sports has confirmed the soundtrack, which will feature artists like Drake and Megan Thee Stallion. “With three new tracks dropping every Friday, the NBA 2K23 soundtrack will feature a variety of artists as well as record label partnerships and integrations throughout the season,” explained a press release. The publisher is still keeping details about The City Underwarp, but all will be revealed next week, ahead of the title’s September 9 launch.
