Save for announcing delays, we haven’t heard anything about Enhance Games and THA Ltd’s upcoming game, Humanity, for years. In case you forgot, and we wouldn’t blame you, it was announced for PS4 and PSVR in 2019, and has you running around thousands of tiny digital people in abstract puzzles. The unusual game is being pushed back once again, although the devs seem a little more confident in 2023.
The tweet above assures that the team will “share more in 2023, and this time we mean it”. The studio also asks that fans not lose faith, which is fair enough, but it is Too much steamware at this point.
We’re just speculating, but it seems like a reasonable theory that the game’s development may have shifted to PS5 and PSVR2. This would go a long way to explaining all the delays. Officially, though, the game is still listed for PS4 and PSVR, so we don’t want to get too carried away. We hope to get that promised update next year, then.
