Outer Worlds Rough PS5 port gets first-launch performance patch
A patch has been released for the sci-fi action RPG The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition, designed to address a number of performance issues reported by players in recent days.
Spacer’s Choice PS5 upgrade was released in such poor condition that some players demanded immediate refunds, complaining of abnormal performance and numerous bugs. Private Division, the title’s embattled publisher, has promised to address player issues in this and future patches, despite recent layoffs.
We haven’t had a chance to try it out for ourselves, but have received feedback on whether the game runs any better. Some players are reporting improvements, while others swear it’s exactly the same.
