Play your friends in Deceive Inc on PS5 on March 21st

Social manipulation and subterfuge titles are all the rage these days after Among Us set the world on fire during the lockdown, and Deceive Inc seems like another one hoping to catch the trickster in the act. Releasing for PS5 on March 21, 2023, it works with up to 12 players — playing alone or in a team of three — with an NPC going undercover and trying to extract a piece of treasure. Along the way, they need to maintain their disguise and figure out who the other real players are. Take a look at the trailer above.

Provides more context and details on Sweet Bandit Studios The PlayStation Blog, where it states that there will be a free open beta starting March 10, 2023 featuring crossplay. While it has not been confirmed how many playable characters will be part of the pre-launch test, there will be eight in the full game. All have different starting weapons and archetypes, ensuring there will be a character for every playstyle.

Pre-ordering the game gets you some bonus outfits and equipment ink while the Black Tie Edition bundles in a bit of premium currency.
