CES PSVR2 PlayStation VR Sony 1

Well, that can’t be right, can it? Sony no longer holds press conferences! Apparently, the Japanese juggernaut still has a little love CESHowever, and when you should never expect major PlayStation announcements at the event – well, it’s fair to say PSVR2 is actually in the thumbnail of the livestream. But don’t take our word for it, because with the power of our CMS we can embed the video below for you:

Of course, CES doesn’t start until early January, and the event is still a few weeks away. However, the press conference will begin on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 5PM PT, and if you’re not sure what time it is in your country, we’ve included a handy time zone guide below. Yes, it’s more CMS magic.

  • North America: 5pm PST / 6pm MST / 7pm CST / 8pm EST
  • UK/Ireland: 1am GMT
  • Europe: 2am CET / 3am EET
  • Asia/Oceania: 10am JST / 9am AWST / 12pm AEDT

With PSVR2 launching on February 22, 2023, we really expect the headset to have a good presence during the showcase. While we wouldn’t necessarily expect one the new game announcements, it’s possible we’ll see more footage of Horizon Call of the Mountain, and the platform holder could take the opportunity to announce key features, such as whether there will be an updated version of the original PSVR’s cinematic mode, which With you play non-VR games in a virtual space.

Either way, we’ll be tuning in, and we’ll bring you all the relevant news as it breaks.
