PS5, the PS4 action RPG Eternites Returns, is targeting a summer release date

Remember Eternites, the exciting action RPG that was first shown during Sony’s State of Play broadcast last year? Well, developer Studio Cy has just provided an update on how things are going.

Just to recap, this is an action-based adventure that works on a calendar system, similar to something like Persona. You also get to involve yourself romantically with your fellow survivors, which should give the title an interesting edge.

The team says that Eternites is now on track for a summer 2023 release, and it looks like the project has gone through some pretty significant changes since its announcement. Don’t worry, though – it’ll look like it’s still the stylish apocalyptic adventure it showed off months ago.

Studio Cy says it has improved the overall flow of the game, with a better user interface, combat improvements and more. “We’ve made significant updates to Eternights’ environment and level design to give players even more compelling reasons to explore dungeons with their beloved confidants,” explains the developer.

In fact, the game looks pretty sharp in its new trailer (embedded at the top of this article) compared to how it looked back in June. Hopefully we’ll get to see more footage in the near future.

Are you looking forward to Eternights? Admit that the apocalypse doesn’t sound too bad in the comments section below.
