‘Really important’ PS5, Sonic Frontiers writer to return for PS4 DLC

Ian Flynn is a familiar name to fans in the Sonic the Hedgehog community, as he is the author of many stories, including comics, television shows, and games. Most recently he wrote the plot to Sonic Frontiers, the most recent PS5 and PS4 game that received an overwhelmingly positive reception from players. And now he has announced that he will return for the previously announced story DLC of the release.

According to Flynn, the general outline of the plot was given to him by game director Morio Kishimoto, and his role is to flesh it all out. He added, however, that content will be “really important” and not just throwaway filler. “As before, the events and key details were provided by Kishimoto-san and my job was to flesh it out,” He said. “The DLC will be really important.”
