Scrolling PS5, PS4 beat-’em-up sensation TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge DLC
The brilliant 16-bit era beat-’em-up tribute TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is back for another run this year, with the announcement of the Dimension Shellshock expansion. Later this year, the add-on will feature a veritable smorgasbord of extras, including a new character – Usagi Yojimbo, the Steely Rabbit Samurai – as well as new game modes, character colors, and more.
Outside of the trailer, specific details are currently being kept under wraps, but a press release hints at: “The DLC will include a new game mode, fresh original music from soundtrack composer Tee Lopes, and alternate color schemes for playable fighters. are included , which will be detailed later.”
Additionally, a free update will be released to all players later this year, which will include “an additional range of color palette options added to Dimension Shellshock.” This, according to publisher DotEmu and developer Tribute Games, is all due to the “absolutely tubular passion and radical reception of fans” of the release.
It’s worth noting that TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge already received a very meaningful free update late last year, which enables you to customize the experience by tweaking key gameplay settings. Obviously the ongoing support for this title has only increased our enjoyment of it – and we were already very complimentary in our original review.
