The CGI movie Resident Evil: Death Island brings back all your favorite faces

Resident Evil: Death Island It’s a CGI flick from Sony Pictures Entertainment out July 25, and the latest trailer features the kind of gritty action and melodrama that made the series a cult hit in the first place.

Leon S. Bringing together Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers, this is the Resident Evil Avengers-esque team you’ve been begging for, and it honestly doesn’t look terrible.

Something about killer whales and the T-virus leads the whole gang to the infamous prison island of Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay, where a fresh hell awaits. There, in glorious slow motion and with increasingly heavy ordnance, the Dream Team will apparently lay waste to zombies, leakers, mutant orcas, and anything else dumb or ugly enough to stand in their way.
