The French cathedral received a diabolical makeover in honor of Diablo 4’s upcoming open beta

In one of the metaliest marketing ploys we’ve seen in recent times, a gothic mural has been installed in a French cathedral in honor of the upcoming Diablo 4 open beta.

Diablo’s Cathedral, as it’s dubbed, was brought to life by artist Adam Miller and his team inside the Chapelle de Jesuites in Cambrai, France (which gets a respectable rating of 4/5. TripAdvisor).

If the mural wasn’t holy enough for you, Blizzard has another trick. Players who reach level 25 with any class in the Diablo 4 Open Beta can go into a draw to have their face immortalized alongside the piece, for generations to come to know. What a giant idiot Of your wonderful deeds.

You can see how the feat was achieved and how to enter the beta sweepstakes below, and players who pre-purchase the game will be able to participate from March 17-19.

What do you think of Diablo’s Cathedral? What will your monstrous form take when you are inevitably chosen to live forever in idol form? Protect us from evil in the comment section below.
