Guilty Gear Strive developer Arc System Works has announced that a ‘special showcase’ is taking place next week, November 21 at 1PM Pacific, or 9PM UK time. The Japanese studio is partnering with IGN on whatever that ends up being, which is an interesting move.
Usually, fighting games reveal or update DLC character news for their own events, such as tournaments – but since this is its own thing, we’re inclined to believe that there’s something…big. has been
Arch System Works previously stated that Strive’s next DLC fighter would be announced and released before the end of 2022. But again, if this is just a revelation that the developer has up its sleeve, it will surely be pushed out during the next big time. Gear tournaments — like Arch Revo Japan, which is happening in early December.
This can do Crossplay may be getting a launch date – but we’re not sure that warrants a ‘special showcase’. Maybe Strive is getting a new and updated release? Perhaps sweeping gameplay changes are coming? Whatever is happening, it should be an exciting time for Guilty Gear fans.
