The new God of War game is voiced by Tyr’s voice actor

Voice actors love to tease things off the record, don’t they? Hot on the heels of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Leap Venom voice courtesy of Tony Todd, we’ve now got Tire’s actor from God of War Ragnarok basically telling us there’s more to come from the franchise.

During the God of War Pax East panel over the weekend, Tyr’s real-life counterpart Ben Prendergast came out with this cracker: “And I will say this, this is not the last time you see Tyr.”

Naturally, people are already speculating about a possible sequel to God of War Ragnarok – but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. While developer Sony Santa Monica Studios has stated that Ragnarok will not receive an expansion, we can’t rule out the possibility of a smaller spinoff title in the vein of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Or for all we know, Prendergast could be referring to an animated short or some other type of mixed media project. We’re just saying we won’t read too much into this comment – at least, not yet.

Will there be another god of war game? Well, as Ragnarok has sold over 11 million copies, it’s highly likely that 2022’s cross-gen title won’t be the final installment (despite the name!) — but again, we take Prendergast’s words as any sort of confirmation. will not take .
