The next Final Fantasy 16 information drop will detail side quests, hunts, and more
We’ve just been bombarded with brand new hands-on previews for Final Fantasy XVI , but if you’re already wondering when the next info drop will be, you’ll want to mark April on your calendar. This is according to a recent publication Famitsu Interview (as relayed by @aitaikimochi), which says the next big marketing blitz is only a few months away.
If you’ve been into action RPGs so far, you’ll be well aware that all the marketing so far has focused on story and combat. And while the development team has assured potential players that exploration is still a key part of the experience, we’ve yet to really see how the game is structured outside of linear locations and combat.
Fortunately, it the sounds Thus the next gameplay barrage will highlight everything else the title has to offer. The above interview talks about side quests, monster hunting, shopping, crafting and more.
The team also reiterates that Final Fantasy XVI’s story is roughly 35 hours long, but if you add Everything Together — that’s all the optional content, combat, etc — then you’re looking at 70-80 hours of adventure.
